We (Candor0 tongue.gif) have found the cause for everything being centered in IE. If you go to your skin wrappers (ACP > Skins & Templates > Wrappers) and click every skin wrapper and DELETE this code.

CODE
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

This will fix the centering for IE users.

Yeah, it really made the boards look odd in Internet Explorer, centered some text, left other text.

Thats not the error here, and a stray center tag isn't something that should be in a skin, or so I would think, your either not seeing the </center> tag, or the stray tag doesn't effect the skin, unless its the effect the admin wants, everything being centered.
