Webpage Maker Added

Jul 7 2009, 08:03 PM

The custom Webpage Maker is now complete. This is a new feature for Jcink Forum Boards that allows you to create your own webpages within your forums.

You can see the wiki page for information about it here: click here. The feature is located in the AdminCP under Skins & Templates titled "Webpage Maker."

This is also a dual feature release because the webpage files can be used as global wrapper bits. So, that feature has been added alongside this one, and you can read more about what those are and how to take advantage of them for your boards.

We hope you enjoy this new feature and any questions/bug reports/comments are welcome. smile.gif

Thumbs up, very powerful tool too.

I would also like to thank the early testers who used this feature before the announcement went live and gave me some last minute feedback that helped improve it, so, thanks, your input was appreciated.

Awesome! So now I can make an sotw page and use the bit in my forums somewhere? AWESOME. This is really cool JCink, thanks.

Not really sure, we'll see what happens.

  6. Karma Says:

You should do custom profile tabs.

Thanks for the custom pages Jcink!

Now I can use the pages to add partner links from the link swap programs once again. It was hard to do this on the Affiliates and IP Dynamic page because they now send a web spider every now and then to verify that the partner link is actually placed on a web page (to insure fairness).

If only there was a lot more room... but anyway, that's for a different topic.

Any problems/questions or are most issues in this squashed? It's simple really so I don't expect a whole lot.

  9. Gunblaza Says:

I have been working with it all night and have not had any problems.

This is great Jcink, i can now remove the big code i was using to make a web page. One thing tho how do i make the skin selector aligned to the left, like what Skullmonkey said.

EDIT: nvm i forgot to close a center tag...

  11. Ambience Underground Says:

:0 If only I was good enough at coding to convert the blog code to this . . . somehow.

  12. Karma Says:

I want to be able to use one of my codes in specific forum rules, but the include keys don't work there. Can this be made possible?

    Maybe, we'll see.

Workaround for it is to try putting whatever it is in a javascript fuction, and call it.

  14. Shahrier Says:

    This is awesome

  15. Ben King Says:

That'll be handier than using the help files as webpages.

    Thank you.
