Email System Blacklist status

Nov 29 2006, 01:21 AM

Not too big news but worth a mention,

I have gotten some great notification that my site is no longer (mistakenly) marked by SPAM lists as a blacklisted server.

It seems to be confirmed here:

http://whois.domaintools.com/jcink.com

Blacklist status: Clear =)

I have been blacklisted for a long time and I'm glad I'm finally off of there.

So basically this means:

  • pass recovery emails
  • arcade emails
  • validation emails
  • any other kind of email this site sends

Should arrive in your "Inbox." It has for me, on my AOL account and my Gmail account in my tests -- both of which use strict spam scanning.

So basically the mail system is no longer impaired due to this. Hopefully it will stay this way.

That's all for now.

Cool. My site's on clear too. I didn't know that emails didn't work here.

Yeah, I've had some trouble for a while now...

What would happen is, the email would send, but depending on the provider it would be sometimes blocked, or, in most cases, it would send the mail to a "spam" folder. Gmail and AOL did that.

I gotta congratulate you for this... How long did it take? Im not even sure I can remember

Congrats once I get... In my opinion, this is big news.

    How did getting Unblackisted happen?
