Here's to the next thousand!

Nice job Jcink. I personally find this to be the best free forum hosting out there(I've tried alot). I was with that "other" forum host but I was tired of the lame support and the fact that you had to use coding to add anything.

Keep up the great work Jcink I take my hat off to you

  7. Delta Says:

    Congratulations

You really are the best free IPB forum host - I've yet to see any other that does as much for it's members and I've seen quite a few.

  8. Mika Says:

  13. Jcink Says:

Very true. I'm working on making JFB easier and more simple in ACP.

The problem is, I know it's not complicated, but it looks complicated at first glance of that CP.

Complicated? I bet even a caveman can set up a highly successful JFB forum that has 1000+ members.

  15. Jcink Says:

    lol.

But you have to remember that a lot of us are invision / computer savvy people that are used to message boards. OK, well you don't have to be THAT computer savvy, but it still does have a learning curve.

To someone who has never been introduced to invision before or owned a forum for that matter could definitely find this all confusing. The front end of JFB is simple enough for members; but for admins I do believe that it should be made simpler. That's why I'm planning 3 different kind of ACP styles, which will take a LOT of time to do, but they will be worth it.

  16. kruz Says:

so that'z da secret acp project

  17. Hamlin Says:

yes it is (theres also other projects)

Please don't hide the features to make it look smaller and simpler

The acp is easy enough as it is, there's nothing complicated about Invision's ACPs at all

  19. Pc Gamer 2007 Says:

  20. Pc Gamer 2007 Says:

Make sure Jcink retains the current Admin CP.

  22. haider Says:

    Congratulations i love JFB..

  23. Jcink Says:

I will explain the full breakdown of the ACP plans another time, I haven't to anyone. I don't plan to "ruin" the current one at this time, I would like to keep it as one of the three CP options.

  24. Seb Says:

    Congratulations!

  25. Avenger Says:

*Caveman appears out of no where* Oh, you think that's funny huh? Like what, we're mentally challenged. Well, sorry for not skipping a couple of stages of evolution just so we could be as smart as some of you "Contemporary Humans".

I've tried a lot of these also....totally the best.... *drinks champagne* I'm underaged but no one cares

And just to make it easier J, there should be a Flash thing somewhere that has a guide on how to use the ACP, like you mouse over things and it tells you what it does. Probably take a lot of coding and crap to do though xD
