Downtime

Oct 12 2007, 12:56 PM

We apologize.

There was downtime from 12PM to 1PM today. A storm in the area knocked out power. The UPS did not last long enough due to extended outage by the power company.

However, during this downtime, we took the oppurtunity to replace the system power supply so things will likely run smoother.

Thanks for letting us knows why it was down. Most hosts I've had tend to leave their members in the dark

    Wooo its back !!

  7. Jcink Says:

It happened again. It may continue to happen throughout the day, because the battery is dead now, it won't last if it goes out. Sorry.

Still seem to be having problems with the weather...It went down again for about 20 mins. Not bad though...thats the only 2 times it has been down for me since joining back in July.

  9. Jcink Says:

Well it's sunny out here now, so I have no idea what the power company is doing. We had terrible storms last night which knocked out the power, but nothing is going on now.

thats why once web-cave gets big im getting a 200$ backup that last 4 hours 2 of them one for the net connection and for the server

  13. Jcink Says:

I have two of them, the one on the net connection lasts pretty long since it doesn't have to power much, though the battery life on the current one could use a little more oomph.

In the past two years, due to power, I've never suffered downtime more than a few hours or so.

This doesn't happen often enough though for me to buy an expensive $500 one though, one day, however, I will.

Oh, that's what it was. Lol thanks for telling us
