A massive distributed denial of service attack on our systems has been on going since 12:45 AM. It is 4:30 AM at the time of this posting. I've issued a new IP address but it is not helping since it's an attack on the b1 subdomains.
This leaves me with only the ability to activate the 3 domains for this site.
We believe someone in the *.b1.jcink.com domains is being attacked and we don't know who. We're currently trying to find out.
Domain Owners:
Please re-point your domain, adding an A record on 67.81.196.2 which is our new IP address
b1.jcink.com, and all other url users
There is nothing you can do at this time.
If anyone has any information on who is responsible, email admin@jcink.com as soon as you can.
When will service be fully back?
We don't know. How long is impossible to say at this time. We will point the b1.jcink.com domains until the morning, somewhere in the late or early hours, whenever we decide, EST around 11AM. If after we point the domains, the attack is still ongoing, we plan to call our provider and see if we can get assistance. It is unknown how long it will take to restore things if this continues.
I deeply apologize for this, but there is nothing we can do at the moment. If anyone has ANY information on the attackers please email admin@jcink.com. Thank you.

Man, this sucks..nobody else but me, you and like 2 other people are on though, hopefull this will be fixed by the time people are awake

I know, but before there was a website DDOS'ing another forum because they had an issue with them, and that caused a lot of downtime. I wouldn't be surprised if it was them again.

Dont remember this..it happened at 12:45 am, and I was able to access my forum around 1:30 for about 2 minutes, then it went back to "this page cannot be displayed"

there is really no way of knowing.. jcink said he would try around 11am but if the attacks are still going on, they will have to seek outside assistance

This is still a major problem. I pointed it at 11 and it took around a half an hour to become active. Within minutes, we were down again. Someone is still doing it. I am going to try a few more things to isolate this problem and confirm for sure which domain range is being hit. After that, I am phoning our provider for help.
Also, I changed the IP again. It's back to the old one: 67.81.111.171

Jcink I was just wondering, my board is back up, but none of the graphics are loading (they are all jcink hosted).......will these come back soon if ever?
I also just wanted to mention that you are unable to edit posts on any forum, something wrong with that as well.
