Admin CP Style Update

Jul 8 2012, 05:34 AM

Today we've released updates to the Admin CP.

First: we've rolled out a new color scheme for the Admin CP. It's been themed to match our service's white/red style. We're finally phasing out the very old "Invision 1.3 blue" default skin theme itself, and this is the first update. We hope you enjoy the new modern theme. smile.gif

Along with this update, we enhanced the Board Wrapper, Stylesheets, and Webpage Maker edit text areas. When you edit any of these sections, the page will no longer refresh. This means you won't lose your place during edits, and an indicator will tell you the time of your last successful edit. Those who like to keep their style sheet code tidy rejoice; you can now use the tab key within textareas to indent. No more needing to copy it into notepad and/or adding a bunch of spaces to simulate the look.

Also with this update we added a new feature to the front end of the service; a long time requested feature has finally been added: you can now enable prefixes/suffixes board-wide such as the board index, topic index view, and sub-forum view.

You can enable it in Admin CP -> General Configuration -> "Enable user group prefix/suffixes for display board-wide?"

Last but not least, our jQuery version has been bumped up to 1.7.2 from 1.6.4.

Let us know if you have any problems with the update or if you have any questions or comments.
