Status Report
Aug 28 2011, 10:10 PMToday at around 5:00PM EDT we lost power to our systems. Although they were battery backed, they do not last forever and thus our network went down.
Over the last few hours we waited to see if the power station would restore it but there is no known estimate for it at this time. Over a million are without power right now as repair crews in our state of New Jersey restore the power grid to everyone. This is because of hurricane Irene.
At this time we're operational via backup generator power. This seems stable but we will be closely monitoring it.

At around 1:30AM there were issues with the generator, so we had to power down.
At around 2:45 AM power was restored to our location, so everything was set-up again a few minutes later. Currently watching everything; there is no damage to equipment and all looks well.
Thank you for your patience in these times; we apologize. Hurricane Irene took a bite out of the power grid and things are still being restored.

Today at around 2:30 PM we lost connectivity and power again. We're bringing up the network and systems again at this time since it has been regained.
